Badminton Afternoon

No, I didn’t play badminton.
My afternoon was spent filming a badminton competition at a very hot and humid venue. It was exhausting! Well, the fact the place wasn’t well ventilated made the task tedious. It’s the project that we’re going to submit for our Audio Video Production class finals. I was annoyed when I learned that we were assigned to film badminton, while the others got basketball and volleyball. I mean, it’s so obvious that we’re not going to film a lot of badminton actions.
I was right.
Yesterday, I thought that we won’t be able to film the game today because we don’t have a video camera to use. One of our group mates, who owns the camera, informed us that they have a video coverage scheduled for today, so all of us tried our best to look for a video camera. Luckily, our classmate from the other group generously offered his camera, and my group mate’s boyfriend offered his, too. Problem solved.
We still managed to have a little fun, too. For some of us, I think. Lexie and I spent some time at Mocha Blends, and had Mocha Frost (Lexie), Strawberry Kiwi (Me) and Banana Caramel Pie for both of us. In between shoots, we went outside for breaks because it was too hot inside. Gino asked us to accompany him during his yosi break1 and there we had more time to chat and not be inside that very hot place.
We managed to shoot some good scenes, some, meaning “a few”. I think we’ll manage to make things work when we get to the editing part. I just hope that Danico, our editing expert, will make do with what we have gathered today.

Back To Life

My dad finally gave in and bought the parts I needed for my computer. He upgraded the parts 1 notch, too. My processor is now an Intel Pentium IV Dual Core, and my memory1 is 1GB. Yay!
Anyway, I am working on a downloads site for The Sims 2. I’ve always been a big fan of that game since The Sims 1. Now, the graphics are better and the game has totally improved. Pao is so generous to provide me with 200mb hosting space for the website. It’s still a work in progress, the layout is done. I am just collating all the downloads packages to put them in zip files.
My dad persuaded me to make my own photoblog, so I did. I named it, “Snap”. I’ve uploaded a few photos already. If you want to take a peak, feel free to come and visit, Snap.
Annoyance. Such an ugly word. I am so annoyed at one of my classmates. Just because someone is courting(?) her, it doesn’t mean she has to diss her friends, us! I will spill on my next entry. I am too annoyed right now.

Vacation. Yay. Pissed. No. Yes.

There is another typhoon called, Egay. It’s said to hit until Saturday. Although I am enjoying the extended vacation due to the suspension of classes since Thursday, I am sad for those people who had to suffer. A lot of places are flooded, and some doesn’t have electricity. Even Quentin Tarantino had to change his formal pants to a jogging pants because he had to walk on the flooded area in Manila so that he won’t be late to meet the President of the Philippines. Oh, and he even rode a pedicab. Wow.
This week is actually our midterms week, and because of the suspension of classes, the exams are postponed until next week. If classes resume on Saturday, I will have to take my dreaded exam in Computer Programming. Yes, I hate the class. I just don’t get it. Maybe, I am not cut off to be a programmer, or maybe just a “C” programmer. Why not JAVA? C is so old school! Damn our curriculum!
Anyway, I have been PMSing, and poor Ryan had to suffer. Well, it’s not entirely my fault. Eversince he bought his new toy1, he forgets to call me on time, or SLEEP on time. I just snapped today. I was pissed because he wanted me to download games for him using torrents. I have explained that I am backing up my files because I am going to format my whole computer2, and he had to remind me everyday of the games that I am borrowing from Lexie. Argh! So I told him to call me after an hour. I wanted to cool off. I went out and played with my dog, I also cleaned her up because she’s got oil stains that she got under my dad’s car. Doing that was therapeutic. I was already in a good mood, so I called Ryan. Forty minutes have already passed so I assumed he’s done playing with his computer, but he wasn’t. He said that he’d call me back in a 5 minutes so he can shutdown his laptop. Another 40 minutes passed, so I sent him an SMS and said, “Please don’t call anymore. Go to sleep. Goodnight.” After 20 minutes, he called me up. I was more pissed off than I was earlier. I told him that I called because I wanted to apologize for being a bitch earlier, but he just had to piss me off again. He made me wait another hour to shutdown his computer, obviously that wasn’t what he did. I have been very patient over this matter. This is not the first time he has forgotten about me. I even sent him an email regarding this and he denied that his laptop is taking over his life.
I am a very pissed off girlfriend right now, and I hate it.
I know that Ryan doesn’t want me to get a tattoo, but I’m planning on getting one. I am looking at some star tattoos, I think I’d get one of those. Or maybe, a number? Hmm…
