Joys and Pains of a Dog Owner
Sep 25, 2008 Daily Blurbs
I woke up bright and early today… not because I want to, but because I heard Jasper, my four-month-old black male labrador, whining so loud. I got up, only to find him outside his cage, leashed. My dad already took him out of the cage to take him for his morning walk. I am so glad he is home this week!
The first thing I did was bathe Jasper. He kind of stinks already, but I only gave him a bath last Saturday. My dad helped me bathe him. He’s actually quite calm when in water. It is actually a fact that Labrador Retrievers love water. We scrubbed him, scrubbed him good. We need to get a new shampoo for him, a deodorizer one.
After Jasper’s bath, I gave him his morning food. He’s only fed twice a day, morning and in the afternoon. Then I fed Kali and Booboo. While they were busy eating, I started cleaning up the living room. Booboo is shedding right now so I had to vacuum the living room, dining room and the kitchen area. I had to rearrange the furniture while doing that because I want to make sure I got all them furs.

Jasper, Our New Male Labrador
Sep 16, 2008 Daily Blurbs
We have a new dog. He was given to us yesterday by our neighbor. We named him “Pogi” (”handsome” in English). He was born on May 17, 2008 and is now at four months old. He is quite a handful, quite needy, too. He loves to be touched by humans and talked to because he’s got lots of siblings and his mom can only attend to so much. I wish he adjusts well here, in a new home. I guess I don’t have to get him baby clothes since he grows up so fast! I’ve yet to discover his temperaments. I thought he won’t be able to eat or sleep on his first day with us, but it’s a great thing that he was able to sleep and not whine much. I think the glass of milk helped.

Booboo and Kali
Sep 13, 2008 Daily Blurbs
These are my two pets, Booboo and Kali. Booboo, who is with me for 2 years now. Kali, half-mutt-half-Dalmatian, has been with us for 2 weeks now. Booboo is becoming more patient of Kali. Kali likes to lick and bite Booboo, while Booboo just runs away most of the time. Now, Booboo lets her lick her sometimes, but when Booboo is eating, she gets mad. Tomorrow, we’re getting another puppy, a black male Labrador. I wonder what will happen… More chaos?
In other news, my dad’s car air conditioning is busted. He asked me to find auto air conditioning parts online that are cheap and are of good quality. It is important to have it fixed since our climate is so unpredictable. Sometimes it’s too hot, then humid, then cold, then super hot again.
