Boo!

I got me a new layout. I don’t think it’s that great, but I am somewhat satisfied on how it turned out. It’s supposed to look summery, but it has been raining the past few days, so I don’t know if it fits the weather anymore. I changed my profile picture, too. It was taken during my graduation day.
Anyway, as we all know, today is Friday. I have passed Friday Booboos for a few weeks and you may be missing my baby Booboo. Here’s her latest picture, with her new toy that I bought last Sunday. I wasn’t aware that it squeaks when it is squeezed, so imagine Booboo’s surprise when she heard the sound for the first time she bit it hard. It was funny! She jumped back a bit and stared at the toy for a few seconds.

Oh wow, a new layout. 
Expect a different header image in a day or two 
My day is coming up and I have no clue what to do. For so many years, I spent that day preparing for a feast that I could share with my friends. I would invite those whom I am really close with, but year after year, one or three would disappoint me and never show up. Last year’s birthday celebration was OK, I guess. Most of the people who came are my new found friends through Ryan. Only 2 of the visitors are my real friends. Two years ago, only four of my friends came, well, one of them is my real friend, and the other 3 are my new friends through that one friend. It sucks. I felt unimportant.
I don’t really know what will happen on that day. I am not even informing anyone about my birthday. Yesterday, JeAr sent me a text message and asked if I had plans. It seems like he is interested in celebrating my birthday. Since I’ve known him, he has been present in my celebrations. He even mentioned that he doesn’t know what to give me. I told him to just surprise me, I am not picky.
My sister suggested that I should just treat my friends to a night out. Dinner, maybe. I was thinking to watch a movie, but I don’t know if there’s a good line up for this weekend. I am planning to invite my friends from my old job. They’re the ones who has never bailed out on me. I just hope that it would really be better than the previous 3 years.
I need to plan a new weight loss scheme to lose all the weight that I gained this season. Ugh.

I finally changed my layout after, hmm… 6 months! I have been working on this layout for two weeks, and it’s finally up. I was a bit skeptical about this theme because of the colors I used. I am kind of afraid of pink, and its different shades, but I guess it worked for me this time. I am in the process of finding and fixing bugs, plus weeding out dead links from my blog directory. Hopefully, by the end of the week, everything will be running smoothly.
In other news, my dog, Booboo, is sick. According to the veterinarian, her case is uncommon to her breed. She developed some sort of fungal infection on her paws. The vet said it could be due to the weather changes, or from the food that she eats. I told the vet what I feed her, so that eliminated food as the main cause. The vet gave her some shots and a prescription that she should take for a week. It is a bit hard on my part, since I have to clean her paws twice a day and apply an ointment. Booboo doesn’t want to be touched on her paws, so I always have to run after her. Licking her paws is a problem, so we bought her baby mittens to make sure she doesn’t lick off the ointment. After three days, her paws are almost healed, but I still worry about her. I don’t know what I would do if I lose her. I even told my mom that when I get my own place, I would bring her with me. It sucks that I can’t do more than I can to ease her pain…
