Sit and Shave
Feb 14, 2008 Buzz
One of my favorite things to do is taking a long bath. Unfortunately, we do not have a bathtub, so I take a bath standing up. Of course, I do have my daily regimens, and one of them is shaving my legs. Yes, I do shave my legs. It is quite hard to do while standing up, and I don’t really want to sit on the toilet bowl, so I definitely need a shower stool.

Home Improvement Part 4
Feb 10, 2008 Daily Blurbs
As part of my Home Improvement saga, I would like to update you of the really cool bathroom fixtures I’ve found. Delta faucets looks really elegant. They offer bathroom accessories, shower accessories, and tubs and shower faucets, etc. What’s great about this brand is they have been around for a very long time, and that tells you how good their products are.
My dad is actually postponing our summer plans. Since the fire tragedy in our family, he has been helping out my relatives to rebuild some parts of their houses. Most of my dad’s money has been used to buy fixtures for their homes. I know it is a bit disappointing to see our own homes not getting any improvement, but, they need it more than we do.

My Nanay
Feb 10, 2008 Buzz, Daily Blurbs
My mom’s mother, Nanay, cannot walk anymore. About 7 years ago, she slipped and fell on a concrete floor. This accident caused her to have an emergency operation on her hip joints. She was able to walk with support. She uses her cane to help her move around the house, and she could still come with when we go out and watch movies.
After about two years, she continually felt pain on her hips. After a while, she could barely stand nor walk. Her feet are now two big wheels. She cannot walk nor stand anymore. According to her doctors the ball in the joint that was replaced before was the wrong one. It was slightly bigger than what they should’ve used. The regrowth of the bone muscles clung to the artificial joint. My grandmother doesn’t want to go under the knife anymore.
Her bedroom used to be upstairs, and she does need a stair lift whenever we go out and watch movies. My grandmother became reclusive. She thinks she’s not worth all the attention, and she felt worthless. But, with all of us behind her, she was able to regain her confidence and remembers my name once in a while. I do wish she stays with us for a longer time. I love her.
