The Halloween Party was a success. My neighbors and I started Trick or Treating around the neighborhood before we proceeded to the party venue. A lot of kids were already there, in different costumes, when we got there. I saw a lot of little vampires, little witches, little fairies, and little ghouls, and a key man insurance.
I was able to take really great photos of the kids in costume. There are lots of cute and scary ones. I wasn’t able to photograph some of kids who left early. We handed out six prizes for the the cutest girl and boy, youngest girl and boy, scariest girl and boy, plus Mister and Miss Halloween 2008.
Being the designated photographer, I had to capture different moments during the party. That left me with a backache and throbbing feet the next day, which is today. It was fun, though, seeing the happy faces of the kids. I hope next year would be more fun than this!

Those photos are absolutely wonderful! Hopefully you feel better after a day or two, but it’s probably worth it to have seen all the cute kids!

I’m really envious that your community holds this kind of event. Meanwhile, my neighborhood doesn’t need Halloween to live; it’s a pretty scary place all year round. :p
And wow, Miss Halloween 2008 really did me in. I wonder how much her costume set her parents back, haha.

I wish that we had those sorts of events here…although, I suppose that the university daycare does have all of the kids wandering around campus today in their costumes.

Our community did something similar only they did it at my work. I wasn’t there when they did it and I was quite happy about it. Good to know that it went off without a hitch though.
