Not Really Back…

Yup, I am still in hiatus, but since I am in an internet cafe, I decided to blog about the things that happened to me for the past few days. Duh. :sneer:

So, from Wednesday to Saturday I had my final exams. On Wednesday, my exam is for Color Theory and we painted on canvass. We can paint any subject, and I couldn’t think of anything, so I decided on fruits and vegetables. I tell you, I am not satisfied with how it turned out, but I got an 87% on it. So, I passed and that’s all that matters.

On Thursday, I had no classes because I don’t have a Communication Arts subject. So Ryan just came to our house and he brought DVDs for us to watch. We watched Stealth, starring Jessica Biel, Jamie Foxx and this other guy whom I forgot the name. After the movie, I asked him to quiz me using my reviewer. I was really disappointed that my reviewer was a waste. Three fourths of it didn’t appear on the exam. Pfft. So much for reviewing for the finals! Damn HQ (Head Quarters) exams!

By Friday, I took my Basic Computer Concepts and Lab exams. I was kind of pissed because the room that we’re supposed to use to take the exam was locked and no one was there to open it, so we roomed with sophomore students who were taking their Filipino final exams. I had no problems with rooming with other people, but damn, were they so noisy?! They didn’t care that there are other students taking their exams, too. So the things that I know just flew out of my head. I couldn’t remember most of them, especially in the enumeration part of the exam. Argh.

After the exams, Ryan and I met at nearest mall from school, Robinson’s mall, and then we headed to our house so I could change clothes. We then headed to Gateway Mall in Cubao Quezon City. We rode LRT2. It was his first time, so was excited to ride the LRT2. It was also his first time to go to Gateway Mall and by the entrance is Fully Booked. We were so eager to get inside and check out the books inside. We were both having “bookgasms” hahaha! He scanned through the Best 100 list, as I went to Fiction A-Z. I saw some good books, and made mental notes as to what I want to buy or get for Christmas. We ate at Burger King, AGAIN! He loves his French fries. I don’t have anything against BK, but I want to eat somewhere else, and I told him no more BK’s next time. *lol*

We watched My First Wedding, starring Rachel Leigh Cook and some guy whom I forgot the name. It was a fun movie. It’s not the best, but, if I’d go back, I’d rather watch Employee of the Month. But to be fair, the movie made me laugh and he laughed a lot, too. After the movie, we headed home to mine and he stayed for an hour until he went home to his.

By Saturday, I took my finals for Basic Drafting and Drawing, and if I am not wrong, I aced it. Hopefully!

At 6pm, my sister & brother, Chicka & ZJ plus me, went to my cousin’s 14th birthday slash Bon Voyage party. She’s off to the US on November. Most of my cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews and my grandma were there. We just ate dinner there, and we went home by 9:30pm. My cousin, JC and her boyfriend, Bede, drove us home.

Sunday came, and it’s not a no-activity-day for me. I woke up at noon and cooked for lunch. By 1:30pm, I was getting ready to go to my godchild, Ica’s, birthday party. She’s the daughter of my close friends, Nikki and Angelo. Ica is now 2 years old. Her birthday is actually October 17, but since most of us have work or school, Sunday was the best choice. She’s so cute! She smiles a lot for pictures. I gave her this pink and purple bag and she loved it. She walks around carrying it. She loves to dance and she always says we should eat “Chicken Rice” which is actually a meal at McDee’s, 1pc chicken and rice. But there are NO chicken or rice from her birthday menu. Hahaha!

Some of our friends came, too. It was fun catching up with everyone. We took some pictures, too. Frances’ got a boyfriend now for 2 months. I was 3 days ahead of her. *lol* Mia’s talking about a “special friend”, which we doubt her so-called friend thinks of her as “special”. She’s not included in my circle of friends, I just know her from other friends. She’s known to make up stories about her love life, so I can’t help but snicker discretely with Dyan when she talks about her “special friend” hahaha! I am glad to see that Nikki gained a few pounds. For quite a while because of stress from work and her kid, she was stick thin, which doesn’t suit her. Everyone agrees. Her hubby, Angelo, gained a few pounds as well. We’ve all known each other since grade school, so we’re all pretty close.

I learned that one of our schoolmates became insane, as in must-be-institutionalized-crazy! Apparently, it was because of too much stress from work and she had a stroke, plus comatose for a bit. When she awoke, she went crazy. It’s a sad story, but, we didn’t really like her much in high school. Still, it’s sad, that happened to her.

By 7pm, Dyan, Frances and I were ready to go home. Dyan hasn’t had any sleep yet and Frances has to go to the groceries with her mom. Dyan and I live near each other so we went home together. I got home and picked up the book I’ve been reading for a while now, Dan Brown’s “Angels and Demons”. I have time to read it now since I don’t have any school work. The part that I read last before I slept was when Robert Langdon went down to the demon’s hole, which is an underground burial. That didn’t help me sleep. The image keeps on crossing my mind, and that was about 2am.

Ryan was still out with his friends. His friend, Allen, called him up for a small reunion. He called me up at 2:15am and we talked for a while. His friend also talked to me and asked how I’m doing. He said I sound like I just woke up. I told Ryan to go home soon because he’s got to prepare for work in the morning. He slept at his grandma’s house. I didn’t want him to go to his house because it’s an hour away and I don’t want to worry. He sent me a text message me at 3:30am and told me he’s in bed at his grandma’s. On that note, I was ready to sleep.

This morning, I was supposed to go to school for my clearance. I was all ready to go, but my classmates text messaged me and said it’s not until Wednesday. So much for getting up early! Pfft. Our class will resume on the 13th of November, so I have at least 3 weeks to spare.

I don’t know when I’ll be able to go online again. We still don’t have our phone back. My mom did tell me to inquire about this promo Digitel have. It’s Php700/mo with Wi-Fi internet connection. I hope it works out, so goodbye PLDT! Burn in “telecommunications hell”!
