New Moon
Aug 26, 2008 Daily Blurbs
I have to admit that after I’ve finished reading Twilight by Stephenie Meyer, I just have to jump to the second book, New Moon. I was overly excited to get started that I am now sleep deprived for the past few days.
Twilight had me smile stupidly when I am alone or not, reading. I couldn’t help but fall in love with the characters, Edward Cullen and Isabella Swan. I’ve become such a fan of the two that sometimes, well, most of the time, I wished they were real. That the cold ones do exist.
Like I said, I grew a strange fascination over vampires when I saw the film, Interview with the Vampire. The whole idea of having such ellegant beings walking on earth, becoming monsters at night, holds such beauty in my book. I even fantasized about being one. I found myself quite pathetic.
Anyway, back to this new book… I am way past half of it but suddenly I feel quite bored. Maybe it is not the right word, but right now that’s what I can think of. Maybe it will get better as I go on. Shifting from vampires to werewolves? Get my drift? The third book is patiently waiting for me. After reading this current book, I am hoping the third will make up for my boredness.

I just finished reading Breaking Dawn. I know what you mean by it being kind of boring, it bored me a little, too. It gets better. And anyway, it’s one of those stories that you need to know what happens at the end. Not the best books I’ve ever read but good entertainment value/story.

I’ve been wanting to read the Twilight book for awhile now. I guess I should buy it, I haven’t seen anyone who doesn’t like it!
