Don’t Let The Bed Bugs Bite!
Sep 16, 2008 Daily Blurbs, Hype
Two weeks ago, I was bit by a bed bug. Why do I know it is indeed a bed bug? Well, I did a quick internet research and found photos on what it looks like. Having them is the worst itch ever! Another bad thing about it is having marks on my skin, even after the bite has healed. I read from this article, “how to kill bed bugs“, that there are natural remedies.
- Steam Cleaning
- Diatomaceous Soil
- Leave things that are infested outdoors
- Mattress covers for bedbugs, either fabric or vinyl.
These are the things that don’t work:
- Changing the temperature of your house.
- Use of lavender oil
How do you know you’ve got them anyway? Obviously, you get bitten. Plus, bed bugs wastes, which are dark spots on your mattress. There are other telltale signs, but make sure you have the habit of changing and cleaning your bedsheets and pillows.

SCA
Jul 22, 2008 Daily Blurbs, Hype
I wasn’t aware that 325,000 people die in a year - or nearly 900 per day because of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). In most cases, this happens without a warning. I know of some people who’s dad was taken away because of SCA. It could’ve been treated in minutes. It is a fact that when SCA occurs, it can be treated within 4 to 6 minutes, otherwise, the result may be fatal.
However, with the help of CPR1 to help keep the blood pumping, and a shock from either the Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) or automated external defibrillator (AED), sudden cardiac arrests can be prevented.
