Books I Want To Read
Aug 14, 2008 Buzz, Daily Blurbs
It’s been a while since I read a good book. The last book I’ve read is Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer. I really liked that book. Anyway, I reviewed my wish list and the books I’ve read, I still have so many books that I want to read.
There’s a big buzz about the book Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. I’ve always wanted to read that book but for some reason, I haven’t bought any new book for a very long time and it seemed like I’ve snubbed this title. I want to change that, so I am making a list, a new list of the books I want to purchase and read. Although, if you want to give it to me, I would accept it
- Twilight Series by Stephanie Meyer
- Twilight Bought the book! (081608)
- New Moon
- Eclipse
- Breaking Dawn

I Got The G9
Aug 9, 2008 Daily Blurbs

I finally got the Canon Powershot G9 today. I am so happy with it. I have yet to master how to use the camera, but it seems pretty easy. I do read manuals, it is very useful to me. Some people throw it away, but I don’t. I didn’t get to use it for a long time today, though. I took lots of photos from my grandmother’s 93rd birthday celebration, but the battery died. The photo shown above is my grandma’s dog, Janggo. She looks a bit sad. Expect more photos on my photo blog, and here, too.
Oh hey, vessel sinks.
1408 (2007)
Aug 6, 2008 reviews
I finally had the guts to watch the movie 1408. Horror, suspense and freaky films used to be my genre, but since I got easily spooked, I stopped watching. I still watch sometimes, but I never watch alone. I watch with my sisters or with friends.
The movie 1408 is a psychological horror film. It was a total mental torture for the main character, Mike1, and for me and my sister, too. The setting is in New York City at the Dolphin Hotel in room 1408. The hotel manager, played by Samuel Jackson tried to stop Mike to stay in the room, but since Mike is a known writer of spooky books, he still insisted to get the room.
Mike’s stay in the room is pure torture. I don’t think I can listen to the song “We’ve Only Just Begun” by The Carpenters. I would go nuts and it might stimulate nightmares! This movie kept me at the edge of my seat. If someone paid me a million dollars to spend an hour in that room, I would truly decline the offer. No way!
This is one of the creepiest from Stephen King. IT is second, just because clowns freak me out.
View Boston resumes.
