Old School Letters

Have you ever lost your mail? Our neighbor recently lost her credit cards because it was mailed to her via her bank. Unfortunately, no one was home that afternoon when it came, so the messenger just left the mail in the mailbox. Of course, when they got back, they still found their bills, more bills, a phone application form, and more bills. They found a torn up envelope with their name on it a few steps away from their lot. It was from their bank. It supposedly had her new credit card and the PIN for cash advance. Since they came home late, the card has been used for a big purchase. I’m not sure what was purchased, my mom has the details.

It’s Going Back
Jun 24, 2008 Daily Blurbs
I had to send an email to my previous job and ask if my back pay will be release any time soon, along with my Certificate of Premiums Paid1. I had to go to the main office and fill out some forms and they told me that my check will be release by the first week of July. I am just ecstatic! It’s been almost 3 years since I left the company, and having to receive my back pay just now is making me crazy ecstatic!
I am hoping that the money can be used for a new digital camera, but my dad is asking me to hold off the money for other uses. Right now, I am unsure what I will do with the money. Until then, I guess, it will remain untouched. I opened a bank account recently and I will deposit the money there when I get it. My mom and dad also introduced me to an investment program. I will reap its benefits after 5 years, so that means I will be 30 years old.
I wonder if I’ll ever get rich…

On A Diet
Jun 23, 2008 Daily Blurbs, Hype
Having an almost three-month vacation really took its toll on my weight. I didn’t realize that I’ve packed on some pounds, and everyone knows how hard it is to lose the excess baggage. I tried doing some dance workout routines, but it requires me to follow this guy prancing around on TV. I tried enrolling for a gym membership, but the people there… I just don’t like the environment.
I asked my aunt if I could have their treadmill, since no one’s using it, but I have to change the treadmill mats. It has worn out because they stored their treadmill outside, exposed to everything.
My sister and I are now enjoying 30 minutes a day of free gym membership on our own living room. Now, all we have to do is eat more healthy foods. Hopefully, after 2 months, our bodies will be back in shape.
