Conquered My Fear

Today, my sister and I went to the dentist. I wanted one of my teeth to be extracted because it broke
The dentist said that she won’t extract the tooth today, instead she cleaned my teeth and filled up a tooth.
I am terribly scared of being on a dentist’s chair. It started when one of the dentists that I went to, nearly removed the nerves on my gum! Well, not really. Her hand slipped and punctured my gum Read the rest of this entry »
Major ouch! Anyway, this new dentist, I really like. Her hands were really light and I feel that she is really careful with what she’s doing. I sat on the dentist’s chair for an hour, for both the cleaning and the filling. My mouth feels really great. I need to go back next week for my tooth extraction. I am quite scared for that, but since I had a good experience, I think I will be able to handle next week’s tooth extraction.
No Longer A Bum

I am no longer unemployed. It only means one thing. I can buy all the gadgets that I want. I have been eyeing the iPod Touch, and since our house was broken into, I badly need a new digital camera.
My new job requires me to get a laptop, too, not now, but soon. At dealtime.co.uk tech-savvy shoppers, like me, can find these gadgets with the best price. I was just browsing through their list of products, like LCD TVs, mp3 players, tomtom, and XBOX 360s; I was able to compare different brands and models because each product includes a product review. I think product reviews are quite helpful, especially for those who are not so techie. It provides them with enough information about the products that they’re interested in buying.
I am hoping my new job will work out for me because I do need the money. Since my parents decided to move, I would need to rent a place near my job. This will be a new adjustment for me.
We Got Robbed!
May 20, 2008 Daily Blurbs
We left the house this afternoon for a family’s day out. We always lock every door and close all our windows. Today, we didn’t leave any light on, so I guess the scumbags thought it was a window of opportunity.
When we arrived at 9:30pm tonight, I smelled a bad odor. I thought it was just Booboo’s poop, but it wasn’t. I went to the kitchen and found my drawer from our room on the floor. I had a bad feeling about it, then my dad checked the back door. It was open.
My mom’s jewelry box was beside my drawer. Fortunately, my drawer does not contain anything important. My mom’s jewelries are gone, the watch from Spain is gone, my digital camera, two cellphones, and my sister’s wallet are gone, too. The whole family is devastated.
We do have security guards patrolling the neighborhood, but I guess we need to have a background check on each of them. I mean, what if they know those people?
