Puerto Galera 2008
Apr 28, 2008 Daily Blurbs

Our trip to Puerto Galera was a blast. Ryan and I met up at Jollibee along Paseo de Roxas in Makati and had breakfast, and then we had a ride to the bus station. The bus to Batangas Pier left at 7:30AM and I slept for most of the trip. I was actually feeling nauseas because I didn’t get enough sleep the night before. After 3 hours, we arrived at the pier and bought tickets for the Commandos boat. The boat was already boarding when we got inside the boarding station. We were lucky to leave as soon as we arrived at the pier. Last year, we had to wait for 2 hours.
The ride to White Beach Puerto Galera was a bit bumpy than usual. The waves are bigger and it rocked the boat pretty hard. There were times when the driver had to turn off the engine so that we don’t go against the current. At 12nn, we were already unloading at White Beach. An employee from La Solana Suites and Resort welcomed us and ushered us to their vehicle and brought us to the resort.
Our room was located by the pool and we only had one room beside ours, which was great, because that means less noise. That afternoon though, there was a group singing karaoke by the pool. We didn’t really mind since we went out to lunch by the beach and took pictures of the place. Coincidentally, my classmate from high school was also having lunch there with his girlfriend. Ryan’s colleagues were also at the beach when we arrived. My friends from my old job were there to join us, Ian, Kat and Jen. They arrived at 4pm and after they got settled in on another resort, we headed to the sea to swim.
Warning: Pictures ahead!

Take A Cruise
Apr 27, 2008 Hype
One of the things that I want to do is to travel the world. I want to conquer Asia first, but I still dream about the different locations beyond Asia. I also want to give my parents an all expense paid cruise in the Caribbean. I think this is one of the best ways to travel, too, because the travel expenses include the accommodations, excellent meals, fun activities and lavish entertainment. Travelers get to see different places in between ports, plus they can enjoy the luxurious spa.
At Cruiselocators.com, I was able to find Crystal Cruise. They also offer weekly specials which can give you a really great travel package. They also offer “theme cruises”, which is very interesting. You can choose from a “Music/Cabaret”, “Wine & Food Festival”, “Jazz” or the “Presidential Cruise”.
I think my parents would prefer to travel with the whole family. Cruiselocators.com also offers multi-generational groups so that everyone can fit in to a cruise with different activities that we all can enjoy.

It’s Over
Apr 25, 2008 Daily Blurbs

Another chapter of my life is over. I am moving on to the next. It was a very overwhelming experience, walking on the stage and being hugged by one of our mentors… it was just amazing. I don’t think I am going to miss school, but I guess, I will miss the people I’ve met that became part of my life.
