Friday Booboos

No, it’s not about something I did wrong, it’s about my dog, Booboo. You see, the past few days have been a bit depressing for me, and the only way I get to forget about the depressing things, is when I am with Booboo. She makes me feel relaxed and contented. She’s even made me cry, especially when I know that Booboo’s sick.

I don’t think I can live without her. She’s the highlight of my 2007, I think. She’s very sweet. Whenever a member of the family comes home, she makes it a point that she welcomes them. She would tail us until we acknowledge that we see her and that we feel welcomed. If you go upstairs without greeting her, she would wait for you at the foot of the stairs until you come down and greet her.

She loves being touched and she loves her chew toy. I think I’ve bought about 4 chew toys, and all of them didn’t last a month! She also has her own pillow, that she usually hugs when she sleeps and bites on when she’s awake!

Real Estate Franchise

Any parent surely wants to be a successful provider for their family. Our neighbor mentioned to my mom that he wants to enter into the real estate world because that industry does provide a very big commission per account closed. But if you do not know anyone, it is going to be a big dilemma. My mom told him to do a real estate franchise. You are not going to be an overnight success, but with a established agency providing you everything that there is to know about the industry, would help propel you to a successful career.

Geek Alert

It’s been a long time since I’ve read a really good book. The last one I’ve read is of Nicolas Sparks, True Believer. I’ve yet to pick up “At First Sight”. I’ve been really busy with school and my internship that I just don’t have time to pick up a book. All I have time for is to listen to my iPod.

Audio Books were introduced to me by my good friend, Kate, who loves to read books, too. She’s usually the one who recommends good reads. Like me, she has been busy with work. She’s currently teaching at a computer school. Anyway, what I like about BOB, is that they have a wide selection of titles to choose from. They also offer eBooks in different formats for PCs, palm organizers and mobile phones. I can easily put the audio book of my choice in my iPod, and listen to it before I go to bed. I don’t have to worry about having my bookmark light on. It’s like an instant storyteller.

I am adding the Neil Gaiman collection to my wish list. They even have Eragon of Christopher Paolini available under downloadable audio books. Maybe I should just get it in that format, I haven’t gone past the first chapter of it. Ryan still has the next book, Eldest.

Anyway, I should go back to my reading. Reading my notes for an exam tomorrow!
