Start of the Holidays

Yes, today is the last day of my classes. It’s the start of the holidays! Yay! Oh, and next week is my birthday. How exciting is that?? I don’t know if I will be celebrating my birthday, but, I hope that if I do, my friends would come.
The other day I received a text message from Pink Magazine. I was a bit surprised that they know my number, but I remembered that I sent a contest essay to them before. Anyway, they just asked me who I want to be in the cover of their April-May issue. I didn’t really know what to say, so I picked up one of my old magazines and saw Iya Villana on the cover and that’s what I told them. They also mentioned that their Dec-Jan issue is out now and they have pages about getting a stylish prom dress.
We just received a box of goodies from my aunt in Clearlake Oaks, CA. She remembered my birthday! She sent me a foaming bath gel, moisturizing lotion and another bath gel of the same scent, Lavender. She always remembers my birthday. She also called last night, so I was able to thank her for it. She also sent packs of chocolates and she also remembered that I love Butterfinger, so that’s what she gave us. Yum! :yum:
I am going with my mom and dad today to do the groceries. I am hoping that I’d buy a new pair of slippers, too. My brown one looks old already. I always wear it. 
Tomorrow, I will be meeting up with my friend, Kate. She wanted to meet Ryan, so we scheduled it for tomorrow. I am a bit excited about it. I want to know what she thinks of him. I know that Ryan’s the greatest, but it would be good to know what Kate thought of him too. I miss Kate so much. The last time I saw her was on August this year. She doesn’t have a home phone anymore, so it’s hard to keep up. I want to catch up with her. I expect tomorrow to be a fun day!

Too Much Of A Bad Day

Ok, so I got up extra early today so that I can get to school on time. To my dismay, when I got to the highway, there’s a HUGE traffic jam! Ugh..

So I rode a jeep to school. I was getting really impatient because all the vehicles are moving too slow. Damn politicians trying to fix roads that don’t need fixing! Yes, because elections are a few months away and they’re desperately trying to show the people that they’re doing *something*. Pfft. I wish I have my own car, even something from the used cars in San Diego!
I knew I couldn’t get to school on time anymore, since, it’s already TIME. So, I just patiently and impatiently waited until I get to school. Unfortunately, the jeep ran out of gas! Oh, the luck in the world! Did I mention it was raining really hard? :crying:
I had no choice but to get off the jeep and walk towards school. My school was still a bit far from where I was standing. If I ride another transportation, it would be the same, the traffic hasn’t changed. So, yes, I walked to school with the rain coming down on me. It’s a good thing that I brought my jacket, or else I’d be shivering.
When I got to school, Lexie informed me that we were to do nothing, yes, nothing! :suspicious2: Anyway, my professor asked if we’re done with last weeks activity. I wasn’t, because I was absent. So, I just did those. It was for Macromedia Freehand. I had to copy 6 pictures using Freehand. It wasn’t that hard, since the images weren’t that hard, but I wasn’t able to finish. The Rubix cube was just hard for me. Or was it? Maybe, I was just too lazy.
Oh, and I opened my wallet and found out that I only have Php120. Wow. :S

Christmas Is Near?

On Monday, I didn’t go to school. I wasn’t feeling too good. My head was throbbing with pain due to my migraine. Anyway, I slept on it until 10:30am. When I woke up, my mom just finished cleaning the living room. She then asked how I was feeling. I said I was OK. On that note, she asked me to decorate the Christmas tree.
Yes, it’s that time of year again. Usually, I only look forward to my birthday on the 21st. I don’t feel the spirit of Christmas anymore. I guess it’s because I am getting older(?) I finished decorating our tree and I was not so satisfied. I think it still lacks ornaments. My mom said she’d get the other ornaments from the attic, but it’s been days.
When I came home yesterday afternoon, my dad was fixing up his makeshift Christmas lantern. It was his personal project 3 years ago. This is the third year that it will be hanged in front of our home. He asked me to artistically add the lights on it. He kept on saying, “Let’s see how good you are with art.” I want to say, “Duh.” Hahaha!
Ryan asked me what I want for Christmas, and I told him I want a laptop :haha: But of course, that was a joke. I told him to surprise me 
I told him that I don’t have money anymore, so I will just wrap my “love and kisses” in a neat box, I told him. :haha:
Honestly, I love getting surprises. Whatever is given to me is much appreciated. But I don’t want Christmas to be overrated, like the years before. I just hope it’s better this year.
Oh, and does anyone know George Lindemann Jr.?
