Sometimes people tend to choose to be alone. But not for a very long time, because eventually you’ll feel alone.
I used to wish that nobody was there to bug me, so now, I perfectly understand how a really close friend of mine feels… BUT when I was on that stage, people knew why I was acting like I don’t need anyone. I was depressed about something. My friend, he wouldn’t squeal a thing. He used to be full of stories, bursting with life and energy, and all of a sudden, he just became as quiet as a church on a regular day.
I tried to talk to him and ask what’s going on, but he just told me that he just decided to live a quiet life. By quiet, he means, without us, his friends. I don’t know, but that is what it seems. He doesn’t talk to us much anymore, and when we ask him out for a movie or something he always bails. He says he doesn’t have any money, but it was NEVER an issue before. Something is up, I know. The last time that I talked to him, he said that he has a secret, and he’d tell me on a later time. Now, I am thinking that that’s probably why he’s acting strange. But what’s stranger is that he wouldn’t keep quiet about something like this to us if it’s NOT about us.
I am worried about him. He doesn’t talk to me nor his bestfriend. His bestfriend is worried, too. Why couldn’t he just tell us directly if he doesn’t want to be with us anymore if that’s the case? I mean, we invited him for a movie this Saturday, and he said he can’t go because he has a gig with his band. We didn’t even know about that! He doesn’t even ask us to watch anymore. It’s like he wanted to start a new life, without his old and slightly old friends. According to his statement, I just want to live a quiter life. I just am tired of the old-full-of-energy me…
I decided that I would let him be. Still, I am worried. I am worried that he has some big problem and he needs our help, and I am worried that I am losing a friend…
