Dreaming my dreams

I had a dream last night, and when I woke up I made a mental note of all the things I saw Just Drebecause I want to know what they mean. I am always afraid to dream of things that are close to reality because I always experience déjà vu. Somehow, most of the meaning of all the things I saw is true, or somewhat related to each other.

Dreams are mere representations of our fears and desires. Although most of the time, we don’t understand what they mean, it somehow connotes what we think subconsciously. Most of my dreams are weird, and I love it weird. As mentioned, I don’t like my dreams to be close to reality. It scares the lights out of me when I dream of something that is possible to happen.

Anyway, here is the list of all the things I saw and their meanings.

1. LOCK

Seeing a lock in your dream means your inability to get what you want or being kept out. Perhaps an aspect of yourself is locked up inside and needs to be expressed. Dreaming that a lock is accidentally shut around your wrist, suggests that you are debating on whether to be more open about your feelings or keep them to yourself. You feel that you are taking a major risk in letting your feelings known.

2. GHOST

In general, ghosts symbolize aspects of yourself that you fear. This may involve a painful memory, guilt, or some repressed thoughts. You may be afraid of death and dying. Alternatively, ghosts are representative of something that is no longer obtainable or within reach. It indicates a feeling of disconnection from life and society. This dream may be a calling for you to move on and abandon your outdated modes of thinking and behavior. Dreaming that you reach out to touch a ghost, but it disappears indicates that you are taking steps to acknowledging some painful or repressed thoughts even though you are not ready to fully confront them. Seeing the ghost of a living relative or friend in your dream means that you are in danger of malice acts by that person. Seeing the ghost of a dead friend/relative in your dream suggests guilt and regrets concerning the past relationships with that particular person.

3. BODY PARTS

Dreaming about your own body means your level of self-worth and self-esteem. Often times, these qualities are dependent on your physical appearance or how your perceive yourself. The dream body also reflects your conscious identity. The body is also representative of your state of health.

4. MIRROR

Seeing your own reflection in the mirror, suggests that you are pondering thoughts about your inner self. The reflection in the mirror is how you perceive yourself or how you want others to see you. You may be contemplating on strengthening and changing aspects of your character.

5. FLOATING

Dreaming that you are floating, implies acceptance, letting go of your problems or worries and just going with the flow. You are experiencing new-found freedom. It also means that you will prove victorious in your obstacles that may presently seem overwhelming. Dreaming that you are floating, but are afraid to move, suggests that you are questioning your own abilities. You are experiencing doubts in yourself.

6. EATING

Dreaming that you are seeing or eating alone means loss, loneliness, and depression. You may feel rejected, excluded, and cut off from social/family ties. Eating may be a replacement for companionship and provide comfort for you. Alternatively, seeing or eating alone may reflect independent needs. Also consider the pun, “what’s seeing or eating you up?” in reference to anxiety that you may be feeling. Dreaming that you are seeing or eating with others indicates prosperous undertakings, personal gain, and joyous spirits. Dreaming that you are overseeing or eating or not seeing or eating enough means your need and lack of spirituality and fulfillment in your waking life. Food can represent love, friendship, ambition, sex or pleasure in your life. Thus, food is seen as a metaphor to fulfill and gratify our hunger of love and desires. Dreaming that someone clears away the food before you finish Seeing or eating, foretells that you will have problems and issues from those beneath your or dependant upon you.

Platonic, Yes it is…

It wasn’t such a bad day today. No OT! Yey! I hit all the metrics today atImage hosted by Photobucket.com work, so that’s a great thing. I was able to treat myself for Starbucks Ü Tomorrow night would be Bandalismo 2, so if y’all have time, please come!

Last Tuesday, Nestee and I met up, at his request, and went to Glorietta. I thought I was hungry, so I asked him where he wants to eat, he suggested Tokyo Tokyo. He just came from an interview, which, in the end, he didn’t really want to continue with, so he filled me in on what happened. Anyway, I won’t delve into that matter.

When we were on our way to MRT, I saw my OIC from Matrix and I said “Hello”. Then today, he asked, “So, is that him?” Of course, I wasn’t sure yet what he was trying to say, so I probed. I am not the type of person who assumes things. I always ask and double check. But I was right; he thought Nestee is my boyfriend.

Most of the time, it really pisses me off because most people are so malicious. Can’t a girl and a boy be just friends? I believe that anyone can be just friends regardless of gender or whatever differences people may have. I’ve been asked by people who are close to him, and have become my friend also, if we have something. Yes, we do have something, it’s called friendship. I don’t even want to elaborate that. At this point, I don’t really care if people think otherwise. We enjoy each other’s company and craziness. We jive. That’s that.
