Stinking Day

I was quite excited yesterday because my teammates would be watching a movie. I went to Eastwood to meet some of them, and the others will be meeting us in SM Megamall. After their shift, which is 2pm, Kate said that she’d be meeting someone first in McDonald’s, a teammate. We went there, thinking that it was work-related, and she really needs to talk to those people. Kayo and I ate inside Starbucks, while Kate and Joe talked to those people outside. Kayo and I waited until 5PM! Kayo left because he couldn’t stay for long. So at 5pm, Kate, Joe and I were walking towards the taxi stand, I asked them what the meeting was about. They said, those people were recruiting them for a freaking NETWORKING SCHEME!!! I was so pissed off coz we’re not able to watch the movie anymore. Kate has to be home by 8pm coz it’s her dad’s birthday. That guy, whom they talked to, knew that we were going somewhere. He even said, I’m sorry about your walk. I wanted so much to shove my feet up his stinking arse! Imagine my disappointment… So, Kate, Joe and I just ate at Yellowcab. It’s cool that I got to spend some time with them, but it stinks that not everyone was there. If I see that guy again…grrrr! Don’t he even try to say hello to me!

New Friends

I miss my old friends… Dyan, Nikki, Gelo, Mark and France… I miss Pao, too! (We haven’t had that date yet, Pao!) Even so, I’m glad I found new friends.

Here’s Kate and Karl. This was one of those days that we had lunch together in our office pantry.

Then there’s Trina, Kayo and Rhia.

Of course, there’s Jane, Kat, Jade, Trina (again!) and Cookie; the one at the back is Joe.

We have so much pictures. I even burned a copy for everyone. We’re all 16, so I made 15 copies :)

I hope that we’d still get together. Speaking of that, I have a movie date with them this afternoon! Well, some of ‘em. ;)

I miss u, too, Laarni! :)

Work, work, work!

It’s been 2 weeks since I was assigned to my new team. I miss Wave 106 (my old team). I miss all of them a lot. Although I get to see some of them, it’s still different when you’re on the same room at the same time. My new team, Team Reload, was very welcoming, but I’m still not used to their “toilet” humor. They have internal jokes that I still don’t get, and most of the time I feel like they treat me as if I’m a guy. Well, I consider myself as one of the boys, but NOT in terms of toilet humor. I mean, I smile, I try to joke around with them, but I still feel like I’m a kid and I don’t really enjoy that kind of humor. For the most part, they’re all cool people. I forgot to mention, there are only 3 girls among us 15!

Work has been very exhausting. Most of the time I get calls from people who are computer stupid and they don’t freaking know what I’m talking about. Most clients admit that they are computer stupid though, and I just reply “It’s alright.” I mean, how would I react to that? In real life, I would’ve said, “Too bad for you!” or I’ll laugh! Hahaha! Well, that’s if you’re my friend. So far, I have met all my target metrics. I was supposed to get 14 calls a day, but I’ve handled 20 calls a day at the most. Cool, huh? I’ve even talked to some Pinoys from the other side of the globe. Some of them are pretty cool coz they want to speak in Filipino, but some of them are too arrogant to even say “Kamusta?” Raspberry to them!!!

I apologize to everyone for not being able to comment on your posts… I do read them though J I’ll try to comment some time.

Ciao!
