Wednesday this week, my colleagues and I went to Glorietta and watched Blade Trinity . Effects wise, it is a good movie; Story wise, it’s not as deep as I expected it to be. For me, the best of the series is Blade II. Trinity is actually action-packed and I liked the fact that the action started from the very start to the end coz I don’t like waiting for 30 minutes before all the action starts.
Yesterday, I had my first live call. He was Ronny from Illinois, and he was having problems with his portable. His operating system locks up, and sometimes it automatically shuts down. It was a good thing that I was able to solve his issue by just clearing up his startup environment. Phew!
After work, Kate, Karl and I went to Glorietta again coz Kate wants to buy a new jacket. I ended up buying a new blouse and she ended up buying nothing. Kate treated Karl and I to Sbarro. Today, we’ll probably go back there coz Karl wants to buy the Nike shoes he saw yesterday, and I will be looking for a birthday gift for my sister. It’s Chicka’s birthday on the 23rd and she’s turning 17.

Still feeling sick. Still at work.
Today we’re going to have a buddy up on the Ops area, so that’s kind of interesting. So far, I like my work and my colleagues. We had our “surprise” training finals today. I was so pissed coz the trainor didn’t even inform us about it. It would’ve been alright if she discussed the module effectively. She f*ckingly did NOT! I didn’t learn anything new. She kept on saying that we should listen to her coz the module is very important, but she wasn’t an effective trainor. She gave us an “end of module” exam, but most of us failed coz her questions are confusing. Fortunately, after averaging the scores of our class, overall, I came in second to the highest. Phew!

Manic Monday
I set my alarm to 3:30am today because my shift starts at 6am. To my dismay, my alarm never went off! My mom woke me up at 4:30am, and it’s a good thing that she already boiled water for my bath. I took a bath in 6 minutes flat and hurriedly dressed up. My dad drove me to the FX Terminal for Ayala. I got to the office around 5:30am, still sleepy. I wanted so much to go back to bed coz I slept at 1:30am.
Right now, I am sitting at my workstation, and we’re supposed to be doing OS Callouts (Operating System Installation) but there aren’t anyone available for me. I am still waiting for an email from my OIC coz I am in the mood to talk to some American who needs help installing their Operating System. The last callout I made was a lady from Roslyn, New York. Unfortunately, her resource CD wasn’t working, so I had to disconnect the call. She has this funny accent that I wanna imitate but can’t! Hahaha!
I do have coughs and colds. It’s hard to breathe, and I feel sick. Too bad I can’t go on leave for this. Besides, I am paid to do my job, might as well be good at it. I also have to worry about paying for a part of my dad’s car insurance. Sigh…
